Monochrome series is a practice of light, shadow and form. This series captures the structure of plants through deep contract and gradient light, transforming the subject into a sculptural composition. Flora includes a three-part piece that brings together three unique images that fit as one. These images were captured on a lazy mid-afternoon picnic on the bank of the Blackwater River in Davis, West Virginia.
